Volunteering

Beaverton School District will be using a new volunteer management system starting in the 2024-25 school year.  All volunteers need to reapply through this new system!  Your previous approval is no longer valid. Here is a link to the new  application. We will update this page when we are actively using the new system for fall events.  Until then, watch your email and the BAND app for volunteer sign up opportunities.

Everything we do is done by volunteers. And we need you! If you would like to volunteer in any capacity there are a few steps you need to follow. The registration process includes a background check which is vital in keeping our students safe

There are three steps to becoming a registered BSD volunteer for Sunset High School:

  1. If you aren’t already registered: Follow this link to sign up to volunteer. Follow the steps to create a username, password, and profile. The background check mandated by Beaverton School District is included in this application.
  2. Once your registration is processed or if you were already registered but don’t see Sunset High School Volunteer opportunities email [email protected] in order to add your profile to Sunset High School. Parents are not automatically moved from their middle schools into the Sunset volunteer database.
  3. Optionally, you can download the MyImpact app in the Google Play store or App Store and manage/respond to requests from the app in a mobile view.
